TCY's Chinese New Year Celebration
Happy Year of the Tiger everyone! This year we held our annual Chinese New Year free practice in the light-filled lobby of the Yukon Arts Centre on Saturday, January 23. During the morning, 30 of us did qi gong together and then broke into groups to practice Yang style 16 and 103 forms, the 24, sword, and fan forms. We then celebrated the New Year with a Chinese feast sponsored by Tai Chi Yukon. Fifteen members and a visitor stayed for our AGM. Many thanks to everyone who served on the board during our busy 20th anniversary year and those who agreed to serve on the board in the coming year (in many cases, the same people!).

Tai Chi on the Road
Lucy Moreira who leads the Tai Chi classes in Faro sent us this picture of one of her students and the following description, "All ready to practice Tai Chi but can't find level ground? No problem for this Faroite, just hop on a picnic table......now that's dedication!"
