Working the Shuttles in Shipyards Park

A small but devoted group practiced on Thursdays at Shipyards Park all last summer during rain (mostly) or shine within the shelter of the gazebo or under the overhang of the Frank Slim building.

Golden Age of Travel

Joan Wilson, who helps out with our classes at the Golden Age Centre, had many tai chi adventures last summer. She travelled to Connecticut and Montreal to attend long form seminars with Master Yang Jun. Joan also participated in some tai chi classes in New York City.

Tai Chi Grandmas!

Congratulations to our new grandmother instructors. On May 27, Laura Beattie’s daughter had twins, a boy (Galix Zoom Spirou) and a girl (Nayelle Lilja Marie). On July 15, Cheryl Buchan’s daughter Ariel gave birth to Tallulah Belle Rivera. Everyone is thriving and we extend our sincere congratulations to all family members.
